Jason Sudenga has been Head Golf Professional at Bakker Crossing since the inception in 2002.
Jason grew up in Luverne, MN and is a graduate of The San Diego Golf Academy. Jason started his career at Westward
Ho Country Club in 1991. He was the Assistant at The Farms Golf Club in Rancho Santa Fe, CA before moving to Topeka,
Kansas in 2004. Jason was at Lake Shawnee Golf Course, in Topeka for two seasons. While at Lake Shawnee Golf Course
he set the course record (61). |
| Before coming to Bakker Crossing, Jason was the teaching professional at the Sports Center Golf Complex
in Topeka, KS. He has been teaching and playing professionally for the past 17 years. He has taught
beginners to past club and city champions. Some of his other playing accomplishments include: Qualified for the 1997
Regional Club Professional Championship, 2001 Ben Hogan Classic Champion (67) and is the 2006 Bakker Crossing Open
Champion(70). Jason has worked with instructors such as Hank Haney, Stan Utley, Dr. Gary Wiren and Phil Rogers.
Jason is very patient, has a fresh teaching approach and will help improve your golf game. |

Steve Klock - Assistant Golf Professional
 |
Steve Klock is in his first year as the Assistant Golf Professional at Bakker Crossing. He is a
graduate of South Dakota State University. Steve obtained three years of NCAA Division I playing experience at SDSU.
While at SDSU, Steve was named honorable mention to both the 2004-2005 and 2005-2006 Division I All-Independent golf
teams. He is also the Assistant Golf Coach for both the Men's and Women's golf teams at SDSU. |
| In 2006, Steve won the Sioux Falls Men's City Championship. Steve has experience teaching golfers of
all ages. In 2007, he was an instructor for The First Tee of Sioux Falls. He has also been involved in the junior
programs at Bakker Crossing. Steve can help you achieve your goals in the game of golf. |
